The Cumberland Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to strengthen the bridge between the community and our public schools. The Foundation encourages public/private philanthropy to enhance the educational experience of students enrolled in the Cumberland School District. The goals of the Foundation are to help move education forward by:
1) Serving as a catalyst for the development and promotion of innovative programs;
2) Supporting students seeking to further their education following graduation; and
3) Increasing the community’s awareness and support of the schools.
Grants for Teaching and Learning
Grant applications may be submitted by educators for academic oriented programs that enrich and enhance the learning experience of students enrolled in the Cumberland Public School District. TLC grants are to be used as an additional resource by educators to support a learning environment which directly involves students and enriches their academic experience. Applications will be available on this website and distributed directly to Cumberland Public Schools.
Scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors of Cumberland High School through an ongoing scholarship program. Applications will be available on this website and distributed directly to Cumberland Public Schools.
